Welcome To the WFI Student-Link

Welcome Message from WFI's President.
Dear current and prospective students, WFI is a registered charitable, non-profit organization that focuses on promoting the educational growth of Liberia, by providing financial assistance to students in Liberia, West Africa. WFI was founded in January 2006 by Enia Yah Zigbuo, Louise Kou Tolbert and Josef-Stefan Wenzler. The seed of WFI was planted in 2005 when Enia visited her homeland after many years of civil unrest. During her trip it very quickly became apparent that a program such as WFI was needed and would serve a vital role in the battle against illiteracy in Liberia. The foundation is dedicated to the founders father Wallace Nye Zigbuo (see picture to the left) who was born and raised in Liberia. He taught his children these valuable lessons of life, always take the fullest advantage of the opportunities given you, always have compassion on others, never forget where you come from, and always remember those you left behind. Thank you very much,
