Welcome Message from WFI's President.
According to Refugee International Liberia is one of the poorest countries in the world. Plagued by civil wars, high unemployment, poverty, illiteracy and corruption, it needs outside help. This is where Wallace Foundation Inc. (WFI), a student-run, tax-exempt, non-profit oragnization, steps in. WFI seeks to give young Liberians, including former ex-combattants and child soldiers, a perspective and a future by sponsoring their education, medical expenses and school supplies via need based scholarships. However, without your help and donations this mission is paralyzed. On that account, YOU are the driving force behind WFI and we welcome and appreciate your support.

Become a Member

WALLACE FOUNDATION INC. (WFI) is a non-profit organization, and 100% of the donations goes directly to the students. Just as the students rely on WFI to pay their tuition ontime, so does WFI rely on its members who through their recurring donations form the basis for WFI's ability to financially support its students. On that account WFI relies strongly on volunteers and members who commit to either volunteer their time or financially contribute to WFI. Give A Helping Hand

With the world's highest unemployment rate (85%), a literarcy rate of 57.5% and thousands of "retired" child-soldiers Liberia's streets are filled with young people without perspecitve, without hope. WFI's main goal is to take these children off the streets, to give them a future and restore their hope, by financing their education. $100 only, can send one child to school for 1 year.
